The federation aims to support the development of infrastructure in the digital economy sector, establish unified regulatory standards, legislation, technical standards, and frameworks, and promote digital transformation in the Arab region through various initiatives and projects. The federation is committed to enhancing international collaboration in the Arab region, bringing positive impacts to Arab society.
The Arab Federation for Digital Economy operates across the Arab world, encompassing 22 member countries and regions with a combined population of over 400 million. In 2018, the federation released the "Arab Digital Economy Vision" as a guide to promote the development of the digital economy in the Arab region. To transition this vision from theory to practice, member states of the Arab League agreed on three key points: (1) to approve the plan at the Arab Summit; (2) to create an Arab Digital Economy Fund supervised and managed by the Arab League; and (3) to establish a management entity responsible for guidance and overall coordination—the Arab Federation for Digital Economy.
Arab Federation For Digital Economy (China) is established under the approval of the Arab Federation for Digital Economy, as per Board Resolution No. 2024 (07). This office, located in the Greater China region, is fully authorized to handle and engage with matters related to China and the Chinese market.
